Our baby (24 yr old) is getting married in Oct of this year and I wanted some part of the wedding to have something to do with my/our love of quilting. For our oldest daughter I did friendship blocks and had friends of hers at the bridal show sign them. That was a lot of work.. I was thinking there might be an idea out there with one of you wonderful quilters, that might be a little easier or simpler.... Maybe... let me know what you guys think...

Okay I was at a wedding and this was really neat. She had aquilt out on a table and it had awesome colors and little pieces of ribbon and yarn all over it. In a frame said say a prayer/blessing and tie a knot. I thought it was agreat idea! It said in the frame that the couple will always remember your love for all the knots...blah blah...it was awhile ago:)

I am not sure what kind of ideas you are looking for but here is a link for a quilt, if you scroll down the list on the right there is a video called "Love letters", it is sweet and simple and could be used for cards or notes for the wedding or any occasion afterward. Weddings are so exciting! Congrats!

Will she have a ring-bearer as part of the ceremony? You could make a very nice pillow for him to present the rings on. Make sure you attach to pieces of ribbon in the middle and secure the rings with a bow tie; easy to undo when nervous hands are jittery. :-)

At one of my husbands cousin's wedding she sewed small bags with a nine patch pattern in the colors of the wedding and filled them with confetti for each guest. When the bride and groom came out of the church they tossed the confetti.
