I just finished pinning this quilt. And am at a loss on how to quilt it Looking for some suggestions. I don't want a real tight , heavily quilted quilt.

Its 47X55 . I guess it will be a lap quilt.
Sending it to a friend I have never met. :-) At least not person to person. But we have been email friends for 5 years now. I made the top a long time ago and she mentioned she liked it. I had been meaning to finish it and send but life got in the way.
This is my first UFO of the year I am finishing But not the last.:-)

Maybe some soft curving lines or meander to soften all the straight lines.

I would play around with a loosely stylized flower centered in each of the yellow squares, and either some meandering covering the green and white, or a more structured grid area on those.

I often will photocopy a block I will be quilting, print several copies in grayscale, and then practice doodling with a sharpie marker on the copy until I have a basic design I like.

That is a beautiful top. I would do a meander on it.

I do like the photocopy idea. I knew I wanted to do something with curves just had no idea what. That will give me a chance to try things out.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I will try a little of each.
I am not usually a planner its my resolution for this year. Plan things out. :-)
