Here is another one for a bread basket liner- I have given a bunch of these for gifts & everyone loves them.

I have my eye out for some reasonable baskets to include with the liners too.

There was a great post awhile back with a really nice fabric wallet. I am not normally the fabric wallet type but this was very nice ... I will look for the link .. maybe someone else here knows where on the board it is.

Mug rugs are a good choice. You can purchase nice mugs in thrift stores for $1 or less. Then make the mug rugs to go with the mugs. Depending on how extensive your stash is you can pick mugs to go with your stash.
Use Christmas cookie cutters to cut out the crazy quilt ornaments mentioned above. Use a muslin backing, sew odd shaped scraps onto it. Make a piece about 20" x 20" or size easy for you to handle. Then add backing and batting, quilt with the preprogramed stitches on your machine with contrasting threads and maetallics, top stitch rickrack, ribbon, lace on then trace and cut out. Use glue to add glitter along the edges or zigzag.

:( I love your whole idea...except the pre-programmed stitches....I have the most basic machine EVER and I'm dying for a new machine!! Hubby says I don't sew enough to constitute a new machine, can't afford one anyways, but I've had my eye on this Brother machine in Wal-mart for months, $400 and has I think 75 stitches and fully digital.......somday!

This is a great you tube video for a piilowcase. She gives fabric amts and step by step instructions. Love the tube method. No raw seams! I do a french seam on mine. One extra step, but I like the no raw edge..Fun too!

This site has great directions for tube pillowcases and a size chart.
