I use them all the time for piecing. I really like them. I don't know of any new ones though. The ones I use have been around for years.

they are new to me,as I can only find them @ our Hobby Lobby in their "new quilting products" . They've never carried them before- just the regular Schmetz needles. I think I'm going to enjoy using them.

The are good needles. I take the packages of microtex needles I have to retreat and classes for anyone that needs a new needle. All my machines except Singer vintage do best with Organ Titanium coated topstitch needles.
