Does anyone know where there are tutorials for piecing something like this? I know it's modern, but not sure what exactly to google.

I wonder what the technique is called. Pieced curves? Abstract? Find that out and maybe you'll find a tutorial!

Looks like one of those spirals with a 9 degree ruler?. Go to Sew We quilt. There is a tutorial. Google it Needs a 9degree.

I think it is a take off on Dresden plate and is an original quilt.

Sorry the tutorial is not on tis particular quilt but does use the 9 degree ruler. I've saved it and have sent it to couple LQS. I know one of the patrons has done a few spirals.

I doubt very much that it uses any kind of ruler at all. It's an improv (intuitive) quilt, there are no straight cuts, the pieces all appear to be cut free-form in the same style Jean Wells uses. Just an opinion of course.
