I started out looking at the beautiful quilt that greenfairy is quilting. Then I think I went off somewhere and saw someone's quilting on a drop dead gorgeous quilt that I can't stop thinking about. The quilt is a basic log cabin (I know how to do that--but what size?) The center had appliqued flowers --each block different. The quilter was identified as Kim. I think it was an older post --maybe 2008. I need the block size and where to find all the applique patterns that fit the inside of the cabin. Does anyone have a clue what I am talking about. You guys can find most anything!

You might find some help here http://exuberantcolor.blogspot.com/s...el/log%20cabin

I believe the instructions came from one Kaffe Fassett's books.

Thanks Bellaboo for your help. You are a quilter's angel. I have PM'd Kim and I have ordered the book of applique patterns. Maybe next year, I will post my version.
