Ok, I'm in a grumpy mood. I ordered a Expression 4.0 Pfaff sewing machine last week and the shop owner said it would be in this week. I know it sounds stupid, but I have lost sleep thinking about the darn thing. I'm like a kid at Christmas for goodness sake :!: Anyway, I gave the shop a call this morning and she said it wouldn't be in until next week :!: I guess thats better 'cause the weather is supposed to be crappy this week, but still :!: Can't you tell that I was one of those rotten kids who had to peak at their Christmas presents before hand

How exciting! I would not be able to sleep either. Thank goodness my first was a gift. I never would have been able to wait!

I can't blame you! My Pfaff is about 25 years old and I love her.... but if I had a new one coming, I would absolutely be beside myself! Enjoy it when it gets there!!! Many years of happy sewing on it!

Do all your cutting now, and you will be ready to sew when it gets here.

I don't blame you at all, my xmas present (which I helped pick) was a Pfaff expression2, and it sat under our tree for quite a while. I couldn't sleep either, drempt about it........drove me mad. Then when I did get it, I couldn't find the time to play, because it was xmas and a house full of family visitors. :-D

Aaah, but I've made up for it ever since.

I'm that way about EVERYTHING. I am 66 years old and I can honestly tell you that you cannot learn or acquire patience. The older I get, the worse I get. This whole year so far has been spent waiting (for fabric I sent for; for winter to go away; for new windows to be installed; for DH to get his major dental work completed and blah, blah, blah, and so on and so forth!).

To get a new sewing machine is SO thrilling. To have to wait for it to arrive just stinks!
