Honestly, I love my Singer's old AND new but in my opinion, unless you want it for the collectibility of it, I say it's not worth the price. I have one but don't use it mainly because it doesn't have the needle up/down feature that I use a lot. I'm saving it as a backup machine. For the price they want you could get another machine with more features. I'm a little disappointed in it and I'm a Singer Lover!
