Newbie needing HELP

Thank you for all the encouragement. I have only 10 fat squares left to cut then count LOL to make sure I have enough. Still have plenty of fabric I can cut more squares from if need be.
I think what got me so overwhelmed was seeing the TALL stack of fabric I had to press and then cut into fat squares then cut into squares.
I wasnt sure if I could LOL cut more than one piece at a time.....learning there are really no set rules to quilting.
I will post a pic when I get it finished

stack and wack with a 60mm rotary cutter
last week I cut 6 layers of flannel for a rag quilt
I gave it to my daughters boyfriend, he said - this is almost the best thing I have ever received..
it is a simple flannel rag quilt done in 8 1/2 inch WOF strips...
I used flannel also as the batting...
