When I joined this forum you ladies talked of your "findings" especially at Goodwill....heck, when I go there is no fabric resources for me. However, to day I "hit" the jackpot of fabrics! My mother has dementia and can not be left alone while my father is planting his crops. Mom, lets go and finish cleaning your sewing room! No, I am going to take a nap she said! Well the stories goes if you "snooze" you loss....Not me I brought home 5 "huge" boxes of material. I am no longer jealous because of your finds. Once I get past of how "jealous" (I am) of the quilts you ladies make & post I will be sewing "forever". Hopefully get to post pictures for you.

I have never been lucky either. And the one who found the machine was a winner. Maybe I will find something one of these days.

That is so neat!! I will one day inherit my mom's stash too - she's already given me lots of flannels - I hope to get her embroidery machine/thread/patterns too!!

Every time I go home to visit, I raid my DGM's stash, now my mom's. I love how old some of the fabrics are! I think there is enough fabric stashed away to keep me busy for a loooong time!

Family fabric stashes are the best, congrats on yours!
