I have a baby shower coming up and I really am lost for a new idea. I want it simple yet cute. And I prefer to use 2 to 3 different fabrics. Any ideas on what to make. Thanks for your help, my brain has decided to take the day off. LOL :)

Rag quilts with a minky or flannel back make great baby quilts. Very washable. They can drag them around all over the place and they won't fall apart.

The Warm Wishes pattern from Quiltmaker is really easy and makes a great baby quilt. You can make it with three or four fabrics if you like. You can find the pattern free at the Quiltmaker website.

The Quilts for Kids use 3 fabrics & they are cute. They alternate a 4 patch with a single block (1 patch?) & border with the single block fabric.

I use a 9 patch and alternate with a square. Sometimes I embriodery the baby's name in the center block or use the center 2 blocks depending on the number of rows across and down.
