Default oh hilarious. sigh.

at 2:39 am i rounded the last curve heading into the very last cable section of this handquilted border to discover that the number of sections is uneven.

i used an interwining pattern with blue and green thread..

green thread meets blue thread in various runs across the cable: more collision than intertwine...

perfect.

label up!

Pressure to finish creates interesting situations ...... I look forward to seeing your ingenuity.

That cable is just fighting you to the bitter end, isn't it? Done is better than perfect.

Well, you have made me feel better. I just started quilting the top of a quilt and have had to remove three out of two SID seams. Should be smooth sailing from here. Sorry that I am not the only one struggling....

i just trimmed the beast and will begin binding today.

it is terribly beautiful for all its faults, and i have learned so much.

that most of the mistakes were avoidable, and that none of them are new? well. it is what it is.

i may never show it to a quilter. no one else will ever be the wiser, truly.

i am so thankful for all you help through this. it has been an interesting experience....

"Terribly Beautiful" I will have to remember that term. I bet it is pretty in its uniqueness.
