star in star quilt pattern

recently I saw a quilt made with a star in star pattern and would love to recreate one of my own. Does anyone know of the pattern.. it was like the Ohio star with a square in square next to it.

I saw the quilt and the person is going to bring it..she said she had made it from some magazine article which she didnt keep... hopefully I can kinda figure it out that way... if I find out, Ill let you know for sure..
