One Block Wonder Quilting Design
Hello,
I'm sandwiching up a one block wonder quilt and I know how I want to quilt the borders, that will be some multiple swooping lines, but I don't know what to do in the middle area with the hexagons. There's all those lovely hexi lines which I'd like to just SITD. But, I don't know if I should because the SA on each block is pressed open.
Anybody have some experience with this? Can I SITD, even though the seams are pressed open?
OR, can you suggest an alternative quilting design - keeping in mind that I can't FMQ yet, I'm limited to straight and/or gentle sloping lines at my current novice level.

Some time ago, Buzzinbumble posted on this topic with these handy templates, which I posted to my QB Blog to keep handy. Some of these are quilted with simple lines or curves. I hope you find one that is helpful to you.
