Well, after a long morning of helping my SIL groom lots of dogs, I came home, wet, cleaned up, ate some lunch, and said, "oh boy, now I can sew", so headed to my sewing room, plugged in the iron, sorted some strips to make some gifts out of scraps with, when I am pressing small things like that, I swivel around in my chair, and press without having to stand. So, I swiveled, reached for the iron, it was turned around backwards and I burned 4 pads on my left fingers (not thumb)! After a few choice words, I ran to the bathroom and ran under cold water for 5 min. Got the most beautiful blisters you ever saw! :XD: But do you think that stopped me? Uhhh...NO! Made some cute little gifts, will post pics tomorrow, so stay tuned..for those of you in TX, bundle up! Mr. Icicle is bearing his teeth again! No worky tommorrow! Yeah!!!!

Bless yer heart. It hurts like the dickens....I've done it before, too. I'm so clumbsy and forgetful that it's a good thing the State Dept avoids my help!

All the way down there in Georgetown??! WOW! I remember my first "winter" in Austin lasted about 8 hours, LOL! I didn't even own a coat for three years.

Ouchie is right! Hope they get all better quickly.

Blame your distraction on your SIL and tell him he owes you "help" now since you are injured.

That hurt me to read. I've done something similar before so I can relate - I do the same thing in my office chair. Some ibuprofin (Advil) and ice water until you go to bed... sleep with a cold pack on your hand wrapped in a towel and you should feel better in the AM! (((HUGS)))

Explosive blessings, abundance and inspiration to you all!
