If you use the puppy prints for the focus squares, Warm Wishes is a nice pattern.

I just finished a Snow ball pattern with painted ponies on it and this pattern works great for a focus fabric that you don't want to cut into small pieces. You can make the block as big or small as you want depending on the size of the focus print fabric. This pattern is easy and goes together very fast and looks impressive, imho.

    Sample:

Hope you find a pattern you like. Don't forget to post your progress for us to enjoy.

Reffering to the painted ponies, I did quilt it. SITD along the blocks and then a simple FM daisy in each block. I drew them with a water soluble marker and followed the line on my sewing machine.
Hope this helps you with any plans of your own.
    peace

EDIT: I also put the blocks on point. It makes the quilt bigger, quicker and looks cool. It doesn't have to be done on point.

Ube, Can you direct me to the pattern you used for this quilt? What size are your blocks?
