:D I have 8 rag quilts to make and have found very few patterns on the net. Does anyone know of a great site to find a variety of patterns for free or to purchase?

I have a book called "Made from Scratch Buscuit Quilts" by Annis Clapp. There are 8 rag quilt patterns. They are all standard blocks (friendship star, ohio star, trip around the world, 9patch, etc). The parts that have hst's are not ragged on the diagonal seam, but when the squares are sewed together, those seams are ragged. I'm thinking you could use any quilt pattern, as long as your squares are big enough to let the pattern show up (and not get lost in the ragged seams).
