Penny Halgren - AHHHHHHHHH!

Marking them span is what I was told to do, but they kept comming, so I called the guy back on what to do next. Well it seems these sales people with pop-ups change their address by one letter and then it no longer is spam. I`ve been spamming them all the time hoping to get it off before they get to change it. Not much luck yet.

Then a new wave of emails came from other websites that are tied to her website started coming, too. I can’t remember the names of the sites, but they were rather numerous.
Some days I would get three and four messages from her and her posse. It started filling up my mail box because I didn’t have time to read them all. Sometimes the mail would have good tips and others would sound like she was going to give good tips but you would find out half way through her lengthy letter that she was selling the tips and instructions.
Finally, I unsubscribed to her emails. At first I heard nothing from her, then one day an email popped up from her and then another and another. I unsubscribed again and the same thing would happen a few months later. I tried calling them to ask them to take me off their list, but they ask you to leave a message, then you find out that their mailbox is too full to take a message. I’ve tried several different times and the voice mail box is always full. This will make the fourth time I have unsubscribed to her website.
Has anyone else had this problem? Did you get it resolved? If so, please let me know how you did it.
AND if you haven’t signed up for her website, please let this be a warning to all…
Thanks for your help and listening to me vent.

I had a similar experience with her site and finally seem to be free from the messages. I thought it would a useful site, but my gosh all they want to do is sell you stuff and it isn't economical! I lost money on her quilt block library that I still haven't recovered. I don't want anything to do with her, her site or her products even if she is a "master quilter." If the messages start up again I'm going to do everything I can to make sure folks know about her pushy tactics.

Why waste time deleting the same thing over and over. I would change to a better email address. I don't know anyone that sends me email from Outlook. I forgot all about Outlook even being an email program.

There have been times when I have enjoyed her emails. I do get frustrated after reading & then finding you have to pay for the rest of the info. Her webinars are some what informative, but because she has to stop & take care of family or telephone interruptions, I find them amateurish

I used to get "free" quilt patterns at first but then it turned into just like everybody"s complaint here...so i unsubscribed only twice and no more til i subscribe again later (duh, didn't I learn anything?) so now i don't open it...just delete right away. there is a area down at bottom of her screen where u can "un-subscribe" to the newsletter.

Hi Mac: I'm having the same problem with her sending me a email under different name. I just ignoring them. I hope someone comes up with a better idea how to stop these predators from attacking me with a different sales pitch. And yes I deleted a lot of them but, I don't have time to do this every time. Thank you for sharing.
