I took drafting and the bottom rail on the right is off but I wouldn't worry about it. I think you did an awesome job bring the picture into the quilting world.

It isn't a palm tree. It is the corner post of the cabana.

Yep. The ocean & sky are incredible. I've bookmarked this post for the next time I do a seascape because I really like how you pieced them. Beautifully represents the colors and movement!

If you are going to add drinks on the rail, I suggest including the top of the chair that is in your photo. This brings the visitor into the picture.

Perhaps with a different brown? I thought it was a palm trunk. Beautiful work. It will be a treasure for you!

I think that I would bring down the corner joint just a bit. But over all I love what you have done.
