Default Pfaff 1222e 1/4" foot

I have a Pfaff 1222e and have purchased the high shank. The problem is that even with the high shank there is no presser foot that gives a 1/4" seam. Maybe there's a foot for that and I just don't have it.
Any advice is appreciated.

So I just found a dealer near me. I'll start there. Thanks!

i wish my walking foot were easier to gauge 1/4 foot seam. I prefer to use it for binding but dont' always.
I do have a 1/4 inch foot though for my Janome. use it a lot. good luck.

I have a Pfaff 4.0. I use the 1/4 inch foot with guide. And hold the fabric just a little to the left of the guide. In time you will learn where the perfect 1/4 inch is on your machine.
I don't have a high shank.

I have a 1222e and you can buy an adapter that will allow you to use snap on feet than you can get a 6mm 1/4 inch foot for the machine.

By adapter do you mean the high shank?

Presser feet can help you achieve a 1/4" seam allowance, but there are other variables...feed dogs, flatness of the machine before the fabic goes under the needle, the size of the needle, stitch length, how you hold the fabric, etc... that also affect getting a precise measurement that you may want to check as well. I find it much easier to simply mark where I need to have the fabric placed before it goes under the presser foot and use a wood kabob skewer to guide it as it goes under the foot and hold the fabric straight. People use a lot of different methods to mark where the fabric needs to be placed. I think they even make gizmos to do that too.

Does the generic " big foot" or is it "little foot"(?), have adapters so it will fit any machine? I bought one for my bl...gives me a truer 1/4" than one "designed" for that machine.

I think the 1222e is a high shank machine because my Juki 2010 which is high shank can use feet from my 1222e.
The adapter for the 1222e allows one to use the Pfaff snap on feet like the 1/4" foot which came on later Pfaff models.
