Pfaff power quilter p3 users
I just purchased a Pfaff power quilter p3, a dream come true for me! However, I would like to try ruler work.....Pfaff customer service tells me they make a ruler foot, but not a ruler base for this machine.
I am wondering if there is a ruler base out there that can be adapted to this long arm? Any p3 users out there that have found a way to do ruler work with this machine?
I am new to long arm quilting (I upgraded from the Pfaff Grand Quilter), so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!!!!

I have the same LA. I went to a demonstration given by a Pfaff LA representative. She just used the regular hopping foot that's already on the machine (no special foot) and she didn't use a base. The ruler butted up next to the foot and she just moved it as needed.
I hope someone else with more understanding speaks up. I purchased a few basic rulers and I finally have time to play with them, but I don't remember too much of what I learned at the demo and I'm terrible at trying to find youtube videos to explain things. Technology isn't something I excel at...

Try Finishing touch quilting studio. They make ruler bases and feet for machines. I purchased one for my Viking 18x8 when I had it. It was a really nice ruler base. They might have them for your machine. If they do not have one on line contact them they will probably be able to help you!
