    ordered the Dear Jane CD!!

I have been looking at all of the wonderful quilts and squares that people have been making on here for their DJ's that I finally bit the bullet...and pressed the 'purchase' button (only took me about 4 months). It has been shipped and I hopefully will get it next week.

Then comes the hard part I suppose...actually getting up the courage to start maybe sometime this year LOL.

To all of you who have begun / finished..well done!!

OK I think this will be quite addictive...oh dear!!!

I am using the Dear Jane Cyber Sew from Jan 2010 as a guide and will try to keep up with the weekly sewing schedule except I am on holiday next week and will not be able to sew. Although I have seen Lacelady's 'quilt as you go' and think I might give that a try so will be able to take the blocks I have made away and do that!!

I took the plunge and completed my first block on the 17th Jan and have finished seven blocks so far. I will take a photo and post pics next time. They are not too bad for my first attempts and I think I will also become addicted to paper piecing...it is so much fun and the points turn out beautifully.
