i bought some little girl silhouttes in deep dark brown on "sage" green fabric. the green is the oddest green and doesnt seem to go with any other green.
it was a closeout, discontinued. i have enough for the backing. lqs found blenders in a deep brown and a green that appears to match.
does anyone have any suggestions for a pattern that would go well with only two fabrics (to make a crib size quilt)? any suggestions for other fabric choices?

Sounds like you have 3 fabrics - the print and two blenders. I would choose a compatible neutral of a different value. (If the ones you have are all med-dark, maybe add a light.)
Pinwheels are fun for a small quilt -- make half the pinwheels going each direction, and alternate with 4-patches, using the fabric with the most contrast for half of each block.
p.s. it's ok to piece the back so some of the print can be used on the front!
