how to do those One Block Wonders... I was just looking at pictures and there's another one... They are beautiful!! It will have to wait until after the holidays, but I'm going to make one of those! I'd love to see more from all of you?

    Merry Christmas!

They really are quite beautiful and not that hard to do. They are more about accurate cutting and deciding on placement of the blocks than anything.
    This is one I did.

There is a whole section of the board devoted to them, Kaleidoscopes and Stack and Whacks :D:D:D

I feel the same way. I need to do one for myself. I won't be giving that one away...lol...unless it turns out funny, than I'll give it away. :) They are so cool. I don't know if I have the patience to fussy cut like that though.

Yes, they really are beautiful. When I first started seeing them on the board and with tutorials, I started collecting fabrics to make several of them. Will start the first of the year. Can't wait.

No picture of mine... Well, blocks are on the wall, I'm trying to decide if I want to spend the time finishing it or not. It just isn't my thing, but our Guild was offering a free class, so I went. Well, two classes later, I know it's not for me - hate to spend more time on it, but don't want to waste it, either!

Really, I think the success lies in the fabric selection. The quilt itself is not difficult. Unfortunately, I chose a pastel fabric - which was really goofy since pastels are not generally included in my quilts.
