How sad, I too add my city, but with cell phones these days is that enough? We used to vacation out of the country and my DH would metal detecting. We didn't speak the primary language, in addition, it was a high tourist area. There was no way we could advertise the items he found. Why did he do that hobby you ask, well if he didn't have any activity we wouldn't of been at the beach he is not a water and sun person, nor a reader...........calla

There's a FB page for lost quilts. Many have been found. it's called Lost Quilt Come Home. Post your photo and let them know all the information. You have to like the page of course. Some are posted 'Found this on (location). good place to start.

50 miles is not enough. Maybe the person who found it was traveling from California to New York. ? ? ? Posts go all over, too, so keep them going. I hope you find it for your friend. It's a beautiful quilt.

If you post the story/photo with a contact phone or email or other type contact information I could repost it on my facebook page & ask others to share, I have friends/family from coast to coast. If I just copy/paste as is there is no contact info.
