I've been asked to make a silent auction item for a Humor to Beat the Tumor event put on by the American Brain Tumor Association, but I'm at a loss for ideas.

I've already lost 3 friends to brain tumors and 2 more are currently afflicted ... so I'd like to help raise $.

In July at my Sister's Week my sister Debbie, gave us a very nice bathrobe with our names embroidered on it but....it slippers she made to go with it were something else. They were made out of Kotex pads decorated with our initials and sparkles. They were a hoot!
Thanks in advance for the help I know you'll give me.

I would make an I-spy quilt with fussy cut comic moments. You can get so many fabrics with great themes in them. It would be fun for the people to relate to each block.

I made this for my friend, she was complaining that her grandson never knows what to say, and always gets himself into trouble.

Made using a dust mask, white duck tape, red zipper with easy pull tab.

When I showed it to my friend, she just cracked up, and said there were lots of people that could use one of these!
    Just thought I would share...

If you are wanting to do a quilt you might check out Amy Bradley's patterns she has some very cute and funny ones. I love her work. Got to see some at a truck show last month. They were great.

I was thinking I smile when I see duckys. Maybe they swim in a puddle/pond and it says " When rain falls, swim in the puddles."

I think cupcakes are cute, all different fabrics. Cheerful.

The kids were selling extra large bath towels at our club (for fundraising). They were embroidered with
"FACE" on the top of the towel, and "BUTT" near the middle, so you would know where your butt had been.....

The big kid selling them always got a laugh when he'd add, "ONE SIZE, FITS ALL"

That would be fast to make with an embroidery machine. But you could also wing it with machine-applique.
