Even if you don't use Firefox for anything except this quilting forum, I recommend installing and using it. It is free, fast, and clean. I never see ads here.
I use Firefox almost all the time (can't really explain why Internet Explorer is still installed). I have really noticed the difference on Facebook. I play Lexulous and had logged in with IE one day and wondered why there were suddenly all these ads around my game. Firefox blocks them all.
