PREPARE YOURSELF MENTALLY FOR SEWING!

What a hoot! I remember seeing movies in school that told you if you just hide under your school desk you could survive an atomic blast. Even if I dressed up with makeup, etc., the DH would never notice.

This is soooo funny! If I wore high heels to sew it would only be one because my pedal foot has to be nekkid! I look ridiculous enough in one slipper, how would I look tripping around in one heel?
It's funny, DH was only saying to me last night that he wishes I spent half as much on nice clothes as I do on fabric. I said 'let me get this straight, is that half as much AGAIN or do I have to buy half as much fabric?' luckily, he meant half as much again so he can stay!

What a crack up... I've been known to sew in my pyjamas maybe once or three times. ;-)
And as for the dishes.... that's the kid's job not mine, that's why I had them, so I didn't have to do the dishes (oh, and so the dog had someone to play with ;-) )

I can remember when all the ladies wore a headscarf also. Mom never left the house without one...not even to go out and do the farm chores!!!
