I have a thread colletion you wouldn't believe. All kinds, all brands. I buy thread then look for fabric to go with it, lol. I said that to say this: Precencia is my absolute favorite! I have to order it online, usually from Red Rock Threads, but other places, too. Precensia outshines them all in my opinion. No lint, vibrant colors, and any color you can imagine. On the quilt you see by my name, it is all Batik jewel tones and the backing is a lime green batik. I changed colors for the top as I wanted the quilt to stand out rather than the stitching and used lime Precencia in the bobbin. This quilt is a generous king and I have no idea how many spools of Presencia I used. But I tend to leave my Superior, mettler, and others on the spool holder.

I am so sorry, I hit the send button twice. Didn't mean to do that.

thanks for the heads up - i do believe that next time i am at the LQS i will pick some up and try it - not probably for piecing - sounds too expensive for that - but for the quilting.
