A friend asked me to make her what sounds like a casserole hot pad that has pot holders on each end. She saw one in a pamphlet for a school fundraiser. I understand the concept but haven't seen a pattern for one. Does anyone know of one?

    Thanks so much LaurieJo,
This looks to be exactly the way she described it! Except for the name (?) which she isn't sure about. I really appreciate you taking the time to find it. I'm in your debt.

Wow - I checked out the tutorial and photo and remember my mom making a zillion of these for school band and church bazaar fundraisers ... in 1960. I remember because I spent most of kindergarten pinning those buggers together. Thanks for the good memory!

An Irish exchange student we hosted one Summer brought me one done in shamrock fabric. It really is a good idea.

I'm glad you posted this, I had completely forgotten about this kind of potholder. This is definitely going on my to-do list!
