Default What brand of spray basting do you recommend?

I've never tried it, but I want to on my next quilt. What do you recommend and where do you get it?

I only use 505. I have found it least expensive online rather than in the LQS unless I have some kind of discount. Watch for sales on Joann.com sometimes you can get it for 50% off which is an awesome deal.

There are other sprays out there. However, I find 505 has less odor and when allowed to dry for a little bit does not gum up the needle.

I love 505 too, I tried one by Birch and I didn't like it at all

My local JoAnns didn't carry the 505, so I bought a can of the June Tailor using a 50% coupon. Used it for the first time recently and I will NEVER go back to basting a quilt. When I think of all the hours I spent crawling around on my knees on my hardwood floor and then still getting puckers on the back when I did the quilting . . .

I always have used Sullivan's which can be found at Hancock's and some quilt shops. I like it.

I too am a lover of 505, a little goes a long way and it holds beautifully!

    505. Jo-Ann's online when it's on sale or with a 50% off coupon.

I have used Dritz for years, available at both Joann and Walmart, less expensive and I think as good if not better.
