What brand of spray basting do you recommend?

I agree! I bought my 1st can from Connecting threads to try and loved it!!!! I then bought a case of the larger cans from I think it was sew for less on line. Total case price ($150) seems like a lot but that averages out to about $13.5 for big cans. Spray basting is nice sine it makes your quilt lighter since there is not the weight of pins.

Basting spray can change chemically over time, so I try to buy only enough at a time to last me for a year.

I think 505 is the best on the market!!!!!!
I only use 505. I have found it least expensive online rather than in the LQS unless I have some kind of discount. Watch for sales on Joann.com sometimes you can get it for 50% off which is an awesome deal.
There are other sprays out there. However, I find 505 has less odor and when allowed to dry for a little bit does not gum up the needle.
