Babeegirl... I also went back to university many years later and its the best move I made. I finally recieved my business degree the Fall of 2005. You will have your stressful moments, but remember it will be worth it in the end when you have that piece of paper in your hand!!!
There were days I thought I would never get through, but I kept pushing and pushing.. I too had to put alot of my fun things, like quilting, boms, and round robins on hold and I'm glad I did.. but I"m back at it with a vengence!! :) you are going to do GREAT! |
Thank you Aggi!

Babee Girl... I remember my Quant classes in my business degree and would cringe!!! In the end after writing my FINAL quant exam and (that was also my final final exam for the degree) I hoped and prayed I would NEVER EVER have to use any of that mess in my job.. so far so good!! It was a stupid class that made you head almost blow up from thinking of all the "what ifs" and best case scenarios.... I never want to see another Decision Tree in my life again!! ahhhh but saying that.... you will be fine!!! practice practice practice!!!

BaBeeGirl. I went back to college when my children were in High School!
My degree is in accounting. I promise you just get through the classes and finals and most of it you will never see again. I hated Statistics and Probabilites. NEVER HAVE USED IT. Big waste of time and frustration. I wish you good grades and great pay raise when you get done. |
BaBee Girl,
I went back to college and got a degree in accounting when I was in my 40's. I didn't really find it too difficult; I think unlike my younger class mates, I knew I had to do the homework and read the assigned pages before coming to class. You will survive and even come to enjoy yourself once you get used to the rythym of being in school. Study hard, but not too hard! I used to reward myself after tests by stopping by the fabric store on the way home or allowing myself some dedicated quilting time. Lisa |

Here's my finished project from Sunday and Monday (and last week :D )
It's a baby quilt (of course) for my best friend's granddaughter. She has 3 grandsons and this is the first girl. The background is white with little pink and green striped hearts. The star fabrics have little polkadots on them. Emma's quilt Closeup of star block |

Beautiful quilt.
I Will be putting my sandwich together after I get home from the gym on my Hayes Corner quilt. I got my backing fabric all cut and sewn together yesterday, then had stuff around the house that needed to be done. |
I started cutting for a baby quilt last nite - hope to make lots of progress this afternoon. Mom to be (my niece) had false labor twice now, so I better get going!!!!
|
Good luck to the new mom to be. Got my quilt all pinned together, now I need to decide how to quilt it. Did go ahead and finished the matching pillow this morning before I started pinning though.
