And I thought she was just batting my strips down with her paw! Caught her in the act of using her whole body to undo my organization for my son's crazy log cabin. Bad, bad, crazy kitty!

QuiltE 09-15-2011 04:14 PM

Cute Kitty, you mean!!!

What a great organizer when working with strips ... great idea!

joyce blint 09-15-2011 04:17 PM

What a doll! It must've been hard to get mad at her, she's so cute.

COYOTEMAGIC 09-15-2011 04:17 PM

Tartan 09-15-2011 04:22 PM

I have also used a drying rack to organize strips. Works great and you can easily see what's where.

Here's the aftermath!

Notice the innocent one. She is so calm, unlike her little sister.

Great picture of the kids laughing ... you must have been quick on the draw with the camera. It's a wonder that she didn't skidaddle once everyone started laughing! :)

plmsmith 09-15-2011 04:25 PM

Kitty just wants to have fun

erstan947 09-15-2011 04:27 PM

Oh Oh .... fall down, go booooooooom!

donnaree59 09-15-2011 04:28 PM

Uttt oh.... She just thought it was her very own new toy!

Cattyqwltr 09-15-2011 04:38 PM

Silly human, don't you know that any potential quilt layout must be approved by the appropriate feline inspector?

Kas 09-15-2011 04:40 PM

That's my Chloe! She didn't care what I thought! My son caught her and started yelling for me. I had time to go back for the camera and get all sorts of angles. She was still merrily grabbing, chewing, and tossing the whole time. It is a wonder it didn't collapse. Look at that belly hanging down. Ha! Ha! It wasn't until she sprung off that it went over....the second time she got up there. What a nut ball!

It wasn't an original idea to use the drying rack. I saw one of those famous quilter's sewing room in a mag and she used an antique spice drying rack. I have been looking for something like that ever since. Found this one at Value Village for $3. Can't beat that!

cr12cats 09-15-2011 04:42 PM

Cybrarian 09-15-2011 05:15 PM

I love your gold tabby just laying on the floor watching "yeah looks like wwwaaayyyy too much effort (big cat yawn) you go for it I'll be the lookout-whoops too late"...

javin22 09-15-2011 05:18 PM

this must be how yoga was invented. LOL

dallen4350 09-15-2011 05:21 PM

Everything is a toy for a cat to enjoy. Haven't you learned that yet?

My cat is so old (and fat) that I only work about her barfing on my quilt. Enjoy the playfulness.

Ramona Byrd 09-15-2011 05:38 PM

What a neat idea for strips.

And love the antics most cats can do, they are a lot of fun to have around.

alikat110 09-15-2011 05:50 PM

Poor kitty. She's not bad....she just made a poor choice!!!

lovingmama 09-15-2011 05:51 PM

Thank you so much for sharing, that gave many of us a good laugh! Sorry though, for the mess!

Hang on in there! Just like your Kitty did! :-P

Dina 09-15-2011 05:55 PM

Thanks for the giggle! Sure made me laugh! Of course the quilt inspector must approve every strip prior to sewing!!

blueangel 09-15-2011 07:27 PM

clarinet87 09-15-2011 07:41 PM

You mean you didn't put that up for her??? Crazy.
