She has that expression on her face all the time. I call her Googly Bear since she always looks shocked! She and Penny really give us the giggles. I am so glad we got two. They are about a month apart in age. We got Chloe first, then a week later we got her a sister. They love each other.

I wasn't mad at her. She was just too silly!

I think she was thinking she was helping you get the fabric away from this wooden monster. Cute!!!!

DebsShelties 09-16-2011 02:19 AM

Awwwwwwwww but kitty was having so much fun lol

wvdek 09-16-2011 02:40 AM

ROFLOL! Oh my! I thought I was the only one who has a cat in the house that does this on the wooden dry rack. My DD's cat (secretly mine as I rescued it and brought it home) loves to do this.
Needless to say, I don't use the rack for this anymore.

girlsfour 09-16-2011 02:43 AM

Love the pictures. How cute!

Gotta love em!

tmg 09-16-2011 02:52 AM

Yooper32 09-16-2011 03:11 AM

I am sure that she just thought ," what a wonderful jungle gym they have gotten for me".

kaykwilts 09-16-2011 03:14 AM

anniesews 09-16-2011 03:31 AM

Your little boy sure is enjoying it. Funny kittie.

NUTMEG10 09-16-2011 03:33 AM

That is priceless. She should be our quilters mascot. Adorable and great pictures.

TootieAnn 09-16-2011 03:53 AM

She sure had a good time! Great pics! Thanks for sharing!

suesembroidery 09-16-2011 03:53 AM

we have a cat just like him, only your has more black on him. Mine is into everything. I have to keep my sewing room door closed or I am in trouble for sure. But than again the whole house is his to do mischief in.

katykwilt 09-16-2011 03:55 AM

It takes a special person to capture the moment -- an enjoy the uniqueness of it rather than getting upset with the perpratrator. Good for you!

I have a friend who has a large number of grandchildren. At coffee one morning she looked at her kitchen window (overlooking a meadow) and sighed. "I just washed that window," she said as she saw all kinds of handprints. "Isn't it nice to have grandees visit and make those marks?"

Both of you are special!

KarenR 09-16-2011 03:57 AM

Who is not having fun? The kids are, the cat is, what about you?

QuiltMom2 09-16-2011 03:59 AM

Pre-emptive strike - You just never know when those fabric strips are going to attack!!!

Opal Jane 09-16-2011 04:01 AM

That is too funny!!!!

catladyquilts 09-16-2011 04:02 AM

OMG she looks just like my "babies", they tend to help also. he brings me "presents" of anything he can pick up and drag around the house, she tells on him, but we love them for their antics. they do keep us in stitches. just adorable and entertaining the kids too.

quilter68 09-16-2011 04:22 AM

Beautiful kitten! She is wild and my laugh for the morning.

ssgramma 09-16-2011 04:28 AM

ratz29 09-16-2011 04:43 AM

Fabaddict 09-16-2011 04:54 AM

Must have been a strip she didn't like and she wanted to change it. LOL

gypsyatheart43 09-16-2011 04:56 AM

Thanks for sharing your great pictures. We had a beautiful black and white cat. He was our favorite. Such a sweet disposition. They're called tuxedo cats, for obvious reasons.

ljptexas 09-16-2011 04:57 AM

She just having fun!!! Love 'em!! I have a b/w one 2...

  ;) ;)

sewmom 09-16-2011 04:58 AM

Love the cats! They sure do love to play with strings and things. Thanks for the laugh!

mimee4 09-16-2011 05:07 AM

Love your Chloe. She's so beautiful. Of course, the quilt will be beautiful, too. Your children are precious - you are a good mom to enjoy a good laugh with them.

Dodee 09-16-2011 05:12 AM

I love these pictures - I can just see all this happening. I love your drying rack, too. Now I have to get one.
My Mother used one all the time - years and years ago.

Cats can be quite crazy when they find something to bat around and have fun. My cat sits on the end of my sewing table and watches the needle go up and down on my old singer. Then she takes a brake and sleeps on the fabric.

Sandra-P 09-16-2011 05:17 AM

So Cute! She was only trying to help.

stoppain 09-16-2011 05:17 AM

Grandma Libby 09-16-2011 05:18 AM

j 09-16-2011 05:31 AM

Love the cat story and that you also got a picture of the kids loving what the cat is doing. -- J.
