Be careful!
I know we all know we're supposed to be careful with our rotary cutters. And I thought I was - but yesterday it slipped, and I cut a large slice of my finger off - enough that I had to go to the clinic and have it cauterized. It wasn't fun! Please, learn from my mistake and be EXTRA careful when cutting!

Oh no!!! I am so sorry!!!!!
|
Wow, get well soon.
I have to be extra careful since I am on blood thinners. |
Wow, that has to hurt!
Thanks for the reminder. I'm sure we all get careless some times. |
I feel your pain!!! An experienced sewer but at the time-new to rotary cutters and quilting. I had taken a quilting class-during which our class was warned of the dangers of these tools. I even remember thinking "good point--must committ to memory!"
Well --as I worked on my homework one afternoon and being in a bit of a hurry, I sliced the the top of my middle finger almost completely off ! As I ran to the kitchen sink with my arm in the air--all I could do was cry and mutter "how could I be so stupid?!?!? I know better!" DH was impressed that although tragic I left no blood trail and my finger healed after a few weeks! I did hang my head in shame and lifted my bandaged finger in the air when I returned to class and gave the statement "Teacher was right! They are sharp!" |
Ouch! Heal quickly.
|
Ouch!!! I try to be careful - but then there are times you get distracted. So sorry for you!!
|
Ouch I'm sorry you are hurting. I hope you heal up quickly.
|
I hate to hear this. I feel for you and hope it doesn't hurt too much!
