Being hot as Hades today I figure stay at home wrapped around the AC and to give the disappearing 9 patch a shot. Leslee pointed me in its direction at the beginning of the week and it's been playing havoc in the noodles ever since (quilter!). Have any of you played with this much?
|
I am not familiar with that one. Explain it if you would.
|
Easy! Take a nine patch, cut into quarters, rearrange and re-sew.

Cool! Make sure you share pictures. Love to see them when you are done.

Great Link Steve, thank you :D Post a picture of your patches, I know we would all love to see them! Now you have me thinking about some batiks I have and how this might just be a fun quilt to make with them. :?: :-) :?:

That is really neat. I never heard of it either. But I hve added to my to do list.
Steve< can't wait to see yours when you get it done. Thanks |

Well Tim, you could, but then it would be something all together different. It might be an nice for a future project, though for now looking at the sixteen is enough for my eyes.
Got the initial rotary cutting done and am sewing the nines next. |
