i've noticed that people have been posting links for quilts they are selling and i'm wondering if any of you buy completed quilts?

i've never purchased a quilt - i'd much rather make it myself, even if it doesn't come out as nice, then to buy one.

I've only bought one and that was the Hawaiian Quilt.

I used to buy antique quilts.

Have never bought a quilt, might if it was an old one like at an estate sale, but other than that no way!

I would buy an antique quilt if I found one that struck my fancy...but I haven't found one yet...but I'm always looking.

I've bought a quilt although I've thought about buying older and/or antique quilts. However, never seem to have the extra money when I see something I like.

I've bought quite a few vintage quilts, and vintage doll quilts on Ebay, not recently though. Then resold a couple of the quilts, and one or two I got at estate auctions. This was before I got back into quilting my own. :-)

I bought a double wedding ring quilt when we visited Pennsylvania. I knew I'd never take the time to make a quilt with that pattern and yet it's a pattern I really like. I love this quilt and have no regrets about buying it.

I have never bought a quilt. I have too much fun making them.

Before I learned I could make them, I bought some. But from Sears (2), Linens n Things, and Walmart. You can guess I didn't pay much for them and pretty much got what I paid for. Weirdly enough though, the 2 from Sears wore out in a couple of years (I think the fabric was too thin), and the ones from Walmart and Linens n Things are pretty much going strong if you do not count the abuse (holes) from a puppy and an old and bored (stiff joints, couldn't do much) Doberman.

I haven't gotten to the bed sized quilts though....
