Does anyone recall a long time ago on simply quilts they had a guest that had a easy technic for the wedding ring quilt?

There's a quilt magazine that just came out in the last month or two that has a really easy paper piece method and templates to use. If your interested in that let me know and I'll look at home to find the issue and let you know. it should still be on stands.

I think that was Cheryl Phillips, Rings That Bind? It has templates and good directions.

PatriceJ did a wedding ring quilt along on this site a couple of years ago and then followed with a tutorial. Check it out at http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-4260-1.htm .

I saw a video where they did their wedding ring as a quilt as you go. They strip pieced all the little prints and cut with an arc shaped template of some kind. Someone on this board posted a link for the video. I couldn't find it when I looked.

It was in McCalls a month or two ago.

Pam Bono does an easy one in her books.

Also, check out the Eleanor Burns Double Wedding Ring tutorial on Youtube. She pieces the rings, sews them to a thin backing, turns the curved strip inside out, and appliques the pieces to the background fabric. It eliminates all the curved piecing with the melons, etc.

You could still start using the technique described in the above tutorial.
