Finally got a Featherweight!!!
 

Got a Featherweight 221 today!!!! It was on Craigslist. I love it :p Wish I could post pix, but I haven't been able to since the new changes. She is a beaut, in perfect condition, lots of feet, original carrying case and manual. I can't w8 to sew with her. I don't usually name my machines, but I named her Vicki. I have a friend named Vicki Singer and that's where the name came from. When/if I can post pix, I will.

Oh boy! I bet you are flying high! I have my Mom's FW, I learned to sew on it when I was 4yrs old (now 67) and I have most of the original feet, etc. The case is rather battered, it went cross country several times, but I love it. Linda

That is wonderful and a great name for it too.

Congrats!! I love mine. I looked and looked and bid and waited, and finally came across one in a flea market far from home. You will enjoy it for sure.

FW are so cute and sews great. Congratulations!
I keep a spare belt for mine in the case. The belt can break if it is very old. As for pictures to post: The square icon on top of the post widow, just click on that. Click on from computer tab and find your picture file then upload. That's all.

Congrats....I just love my FW, whose name is Mary Ruth (my two grandmothers' names). She goes with me to classes and retreats. I think my favorite thing is the sound she makes when sewing....reminds me of my grandmother's and mother's old machines which were always going! You'll love your Vicki.
