For something which might get moved around, I just use push pins.

Nice for fall!!!

Straight pins into the wall leave a very very tiny hole. I usually use one every 6 inches or so. If the quilt is always going to be hung, then I take the time to sew little white plastic rings onto the back.

For something quick that is seasonal I use clear push pins! OK quilt police ... let me have it! :o

Obviously if I PLANNED to hang it I might have put a hanging sleeve on it when I was making it or if it will hang longer than a month or so then get put away but for my fall hanging and Christmas wreath hanging I just use push pins. :)

I bought a hanging sleeve and tacked it on. Delivering it today!

I'm all for using pins for this quilt. I have smaller quilts pinned up on my walls. It works fine.

A quick fix until you can decide on something more permanent and pleasing to the eye would be binder clips and thin nails or push pins. The best solution, as has been mentioned, is to attach a hanging sleeve and use a dowel rod. I love the colors you chose. You did a great job for your first quilt! :-)

I make a sleeve then insert curtain rod and use command strips.
or I use curtain rod and hang the clips and use the command strips to hold the curtain rod up.

The strips that scraps is talking about are 3m and can be found at Walmart and they are just great. Be sure to look at the weight they hold. There are all different ones.
