Who ever first thought to use glue is a GENIUS!

I just tried it out on some batik that I needed to hem for napkins for DIL. Turn, fingerpress, glue, etc.

And wonderful mitered corners!

I will certainly be doing this from now on

What product did you use?

Saturday we went to Nashville to the Grand Ole Opry for our 29th anniversary. On the way (pretty much) is a quilt shop I hadn't yet been to, so we had a quick visit to check it out.

DH and I enjoyed seeing the beautiful quilts all over the shop then I stood in front of the "goody" wall for a bit. There is always something there that I am wanting but not remembering to look for. I do the same at the "goody" wall at kitchen stores LOL

So, short answer to the question is Roxanne Glue Baste-it. It's spendy at $8 but now I have the bottle and 2 tips so I can just refill with Elmers.

And the show at The Opry was wonderful! Blake Shelton was inducted as the newest member by Trace Adkins. Be still my beating heart!!!!!!!!

Does it take a long time to dry?

I am confused about this glueing. Is this the one where you press it with an iron, then sew. Doesn't the glue gook up on your needle. What keeps it from doing that. I haven't tried it, didn't want to mess up the needle. What's the answer to this and the proper way to use the glue. Thanks

I am confused too? Do you just use Elmers school glue. Does the product wash out? Sounds so wonderfully easy!!!!!!
