Ugh I have many of them and found them no different then the expensive brand name ones. So sorry to hear yours are lemons. Did you get them recently?

Check Margaret and make sure you don't have two blades together. They come two per package---when I first purchased them I thought it was one blade and put both in my cutter. It didn't cut! They have oil between them to keep them from sticking---be careful though in moving them apart.
I have been using them for over a year and have had really good luck with them---after I discovered they came two per pack. Good luck! |
I've had the same blade in my cutter for what seems likes forever and no complaints. I do a fair amount of cutting, probably nothing like some of the really prolific quilters here on the board, but I like the blades from Harbor Freight.

I heard they were so good and much cheaper than the others but I hate them. I bought 4 packs and they will not cut for me either. I just stick to the little higher brands. Cheaper in the long run for me

I have not had good luck with them.

I have used several packs and no problem. Although I have found if there are 2 stuck together, they won't cut butter.

I buy them all the time. I changed the blade just today, and had problems with it not cutting. It wasn't the blade
but how it lined up in my cutter. I loosened the screw, wiggled the blade (carefully, as to not cut myself) Tightened everything back together, and away I went. It just wasn't lined up right, and wasn't rolling when I cut with it. I could tell, it was 'pushing' the fabric. Hope this helps anyone that has had a similar problem. |
I've used them day in and day out for months now....never had a problem. Love 'em and the price!!
