I discovered Arm and hammer baking soda wash that takes out the stains and odors in fabric. The new 2x ultra All is really good for removing stains also. My son spilled cherry juice on his quilt and I got it out by using both of the soaps.

Tartan is right. All that you have to do is ...stretch the fabric over a big bowl or pot and pour boiling water through it. Look at the fabric and in the bowl -the color is gone!

I use Oxy Clean in the spray bottle for just about everything. My boobs seem to get in the way of lots of food lately and the Qxy Clean seems to get the stains out without messing anything up.
