Thanks for that site Woody http://quiltersreview.com/index.php/...uilting-marks/
there are pages of excellent tips for quilters here on that site http://quiltersreview.com/index.php/category/tips/ Anna |
I am always so afraid of marking the top with anything other than chalk and sometimes even that scares me.
I will be anxious to hear how this all works out. |
MY friend found a spot of blood on her redwork and the tide pen worked
|
I saw from your possible address that you could be in a hot climate.I live in Arizona and I have found that these washable pens will set rather firmly if left in a hot car . So if I am travelling by car I take it with me when I leave the air conditioned car.THis has saved me many a headache.

I have successfully used 2 parts of hydrogen peroxide to 1 part Dawn dishwashing detergent to remove marks from pens. I use a soft toothbrush to apply.
|
I'm so sorry this happened! How heart-breaking, especially since it is a gift for your friend. I hope some (at least one) of the suggestions work!
|
try peroxide or lemon juice from lemon .............hope that works /////gayle:p

I use a old tooth brush to scrub the lines off with warm water and use oxyclean Laundry soap.
