Hi Sunnie,
I host retreats for guilds, shops and groups of friends. We have hosted for groups as small as 10 and as many as 42. The smaller groups are really fun because you get to know each other better, where the larger the group the harder it is to visit with everyone AND get some quilting done too. If you are going to plan one in you area I'd recommend starting with 16-20 max. Here's a pic of our retreat group this past weekend.
