I have the janome MC11000Se and a janome 4120. I use the smaller one for classes, etc.

I have a 1967 Singer Touch & Sew which is still doing the same perfect stitching as when I got it new. I do have a small Janome 415 that's in the shop every other month. I'd love to have a Long Arm quilting machine AND a replacement for the Janome. A serger would be nice, but I currently borrow one from a friend who hasn't used it in 10 yrs...lol

I have 6. I have a Singer featherweight, a Singer treadle that was my grandmother's, a Brother 1500 that I use for piecing and quilting, A Bernina 180 Embroidery machine, a Baby Lock Evolution serger, and a White machine that I seldom use. I use them all except the treadle machine. I gave my daughter a Singer in a cabinet that was my first machine, and last year I sold my first Singer serger, so I have downsized from 8.

I have 5, but only use 3. To my friends and family, that's a lot, but here on the board, it seems like too few!

I have 4 machines, but I would love more. I have a Singer 3400XL produced in 2001 (a 150th anniversary machine) named Vesta, a Bernina 1530 (1992) named Martha, a Singer 401A (1959) named Elsie, I'm holding this for a friend, and a Juki Serger (2012) named Bronwyn. I use the 3400XL and the 1530 the most. They are my favorite machines. I still have to get used to the serger, I just wish I had more time to play with her.

I have one machine- a cheap walmart brother that was under 100. I hand quilt what I make. I recently moved in with my daughter and if there is ever a problem with my machine she has the same one..I do not see any problems as my machine has been plugging along for over 7 years with out any issues. And in the past 2 years since I became disabled, I put plenty of mileage on it

If it's a flat key, often you can get it open with a small slim blade screw driver...

My list of machines in my sig is out of date. There are 5 more waiting to be serviced etc (a 99-, an Elna something or other (looks like a supermatic, but older), a Pfaff 361(?), A Zenith something, a vintage brother something), but I've reached the "purge" phase.... I'm listing 2/3 of them in our local buy and sell. I spend too much time maintaining and no time sewing. I could sell 2/3s and not feel it, except that my bank account would look better, and that side of the house would stop sinking, and I'd have time to sew.

I may see if the proceeds from all of the machines can go to a "modern" Pfaff though (and modern for me is one of the Made in Germany Tipmatic type machines. LOL!) They're just pricier than I can support at the moment.

I own my "every day" BROTHER, a BROTHER embroidery machine, a BROTHER for quilting, my latest machine is a vintage 1928 SINGER and I have my mother's old KENMORE. That's enough for me!

This thread is making me itch and go out and buy MORE!! Hahaha!!
i have my all metal kenmore from 1976 so glad I kept it, a featherweight that I love and use all the time, 4 Japanese clones, two blue, one green (looking for pink) a mocha 301, 2 99's one 99K and the other a 99 with the knee bar and wooden dome case, a singer 66 that I thought was a doorstop but now not so sure, I've learned so much in the vintage machine threads that I'm going to try and get it going. And a brand new Janome with all the bells and whistles that I hardly ever use. I'm paper piecing now on one of my Japanese clones! Lol
