I found somewhere, where they charge $10 a tshirt without sashing, and $12 a tshirt with sashing, but that would include all the materials except the tshirts of course. Since they purchased the material, I totally think what you charged was right on.

The medium labor charge is 3 1/2 times the retail cost of materials. No one can find fault with that charge. Most service providers charge a lot more. It cost $38 to have a new zipper put in DH's coat.

-For sewing the t-shirts together you must iron on a piece of material with glue on one side called interfacing. I got my interfacing from Joann fabrics @ .99 a yard...You just iron it on the backs of the shirts to they won't stretch on you. As far as a stitch goes, I just used a straight line stitch on mine. Hope this helps :)
