I've had track lighting in my studio for years! I love it. I can move the light fixture where I need them. I have a tendency to move things around now and then. :)

funny, if that had the title "Quilter's Lite Bar" or something similiar, it would cost a lot more.........you have solved your own problem and at a premium...........bet a lot of us will follow your idea.......

A wonderful and adaptable solution to an ever present problem for most of us. You can see clearly now.

Buy the way, is that a Nolting LA in the corner. The table looks just like mine and the color is very familiar!

Give up some info on her, please! How do you like her!
peace

I thought about ordering a light bar but it was 500.00+ shipping. So, I decided to look at some track lighting. Its not the best in the world. But, it is a start. My DH and a friend helped me get it wired up and hung. I'm planning on adding onto it to make it go further across. $100.00 so far. What do you think?

I'd say you've found a suitable solution and you should have plenty of light now, especially with it aimed over your LAQ

my thinking too. And get the "day light" ones, they are nice and bright.

Looks like you have solved your lighting problem without breaking the bank.

Add some of the new LED lights to the bar as you can afford them. They are still very expensive but they will last years and are wonderfully bright!!!! I have been buying one bulb a month since they were introduced - they are wonderful for working on quilting.

I agree and they do not add heat I LOVE LED! Bright, last forever, don't cost diddly to run, cool.
