Just got mine and set it up on my Little Gracie quilt frame. I also got the stitch regulator with it. Quilt is mounted and ready to go! Just need a little courage to get going on it.

WOW! Connie,
That looks like a monster.

I would be a little daunted by that, too.

Connie- don't forget to drop your feed dogs, turn the tension to the top and stitch length to 0. (Don't ask me how I know)

Another "don't ask me how I know..."
Don't forget to drop the presser foot. The tension discs don't engage unless you do. Then, you have a HUGE mess on the back side of your quilt!
I have the same set-up and I LOVE IT!!!!!!

I have the same machine on a Grace GMQ Pro. LOVE IT !!!!!
Like the others here I too have had to learn some lessons. I am forever forgetting to dop the pressor. Its very easy to forget.

I'm looking forward to your posts, I'm leaning towards getting the Juki with the Grace GMQ Pro as soon as my tax refund comes in (I'm counting down)... I haven't bought anything big for me (house doesn't count) in ages and since I have the room for it, I'm jumping in both feet first...

I have a Juki TL98Q too. I just love mine. Now I want the grace frame too. I've had mine two years and wouldn't give it up. Having the bigger throat made a HUGE difference in my free motion quilting. Every quilt gets a little better. Enjoy.

At first I had a little problems getting tensions set, but a couple of quilts later I had it down! I love my machine and frame. I recently got the pattern perfect and LOVE IT! I am working on a beautiful dresden plate topper now from an estate sale and I LOVE how it is coming along.
